Mary practices primarily transformative mediation. As a neutral third party, Mary helps and supports two or more participants to reach a mutually satisfying agreement that resolves a dispute or provides options for the future.
Some things to know about our mediation process
- Parties are expected to participate in good faith - meaning that all parties come with the intent to resolve the issue(s) if possible
- It's confidential and the mediator cannot be called as a witness in any future litigation on this matter
- Participants identify their individual needs and interests and communicate them to each other in a respectful manner
- Participants are asked to actively listen to and understand each others perspective
- The mediator will support you in clarifying your differences
- The mediator will help you identify common ground.
As mediators, we do not:- Take sides,
- Decide who is right or wrong
- Provide legal advice or therapy
